Overcoming life

As long as we live in this world, we will face problems, will have needs to be met, issues to be solved and even struggles. But we should not be crushed when we have to face them. God's people since biblical times have faced problems and trials.

Let us look at the kind of faith and attitude Apostle Paul and others had during their difficult times of ministry.

2 Corinthians 4:8,9 (NIV)

8.We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed but not in despair; 9. persecuted but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

They faced a lot of struggles in their work for the gospel. And likewise many men and women of God today face similar struggles in their work for God.

But we as God's children face so many problems in our personal lives and become discouraged easily. Isn't there a lesson for us to learn from them? Should we become so discouraged forgetting who is with us.

John 16:33 (NIV)

In this world you will have trouble. But take heart I have overcome the world.

Let us be assured that He who is in us, is greater than the issue we currently face and will overcome that by His word.
