When we face some kind of oppression in our thought process such as fear, worry, anxiety, tension, gloom, boredom or lonliness, we need a lot of mental strength to deal with it. We often try to overcome such oppression through positive thinking and involving in activities that helps us feel good. Yet these oppressions can sometimes drain us mentally as well as physically.
In order to deal with such oppressions, we need more of a mental strength that can help us keep our peace. The Word God has an encouraging solution for this...
Eph 3:16 (NASB)
that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man.
It is true that when we derive the power from our Lord, we can overcome any oppression be it mental or otherwise. All that we need to do is to ask the Lord to supply His power in the inner man.
