Many a time we just hope that perhaps there is atleast someone who can understand us- the way we are, the way we see things, feel in a certain way, etc...
We just hope that people accept the way we are and the way we make choices, are able to see things from our shoes... Even our loved ones sometimes may not be able to emphathize with us in the time of need.
But we have a wonderful heavenly friend- Jesus, who had gone through every trial and situation when He lived on earth... which we go through today. There is no difficulty or problem in this world, which He cannot understand or emphathize with...
Hebrews 4:15 (Amplified Bible)
For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.
Hence we can pour out our hearts to Him knowing that He understand us and can emphathize with our weaknesses...
Truth so wonderfully put across.

this reminds me of a recent training that i was part of where the Prof said, inorder to understand someones issue from his shoes, we have to first remember to remove our shoes. Crazy as it sounds, but it is true, unless we shut down ourselves we cannot see things as seen or felt by the person who we are trying to help...
