Persevering under pressure

Discouragement and impatience can often make people of God falter from the promises which they would have been claiming for long. We cannot blame situations or God, if we do not receive a satisfying answer to our prayers. But if we look honestly into our hearts, the result of prayers not being answered as per our expectations would be because we would have quit claiming the God's promises because of discouragement or disappointments.

There is a need to persevere in prayer until the promise we claim come true. Sometimes we settle for less things in life and then blame God for not answering our prayers as per our expectations. God never expects us to settle for less. But Satan plays the trick in our mind to settle for less making us believe this is all that God is offering us...

But we need to see things from God's perspective and hold to God's promises until we receive what exactly God has planned for us.

James 1:12 (New International Version)

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive... God has promised to those who love him.
