Speaking His Word

The Word of God says, that the Lord blesses the work of our hands (Deu 28:12). Many a time we find ourselves stressed out because of work pressures. We may sometime wonder why is our work being so hard in spite of putting the best of the efforts; Why is that we are not rewarded for our hard work or for the faithfulness we show at our work place. We may feel bad that our work is not recognized while people who are manipulative and shrewd succeed.

Perhaps we are not speaking God's Word to the work we do. When we are sick or need a provision we claim the Word of God in those circumstances using appropriate promises. In the same way, for any situation where we see a problem, we need to speak the appropriate Word of God, so that God's Word is established in that place or for that circumstance. This is true even for our work situation.

The Psalmist says in,
Psalms 90:17 (NIV)
May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us;
establish the work of our hands for us-
Yes, establish the work of our hands.

We are sure to see a positive change or outcome when we speak this scripture to our work, for God's Word never fails...
