How are we to live as God's children? Do we keep doing wrong, then repent and then repeat the same mistake? Of course by no means. When we repent we renounce sinful ways and wrong ideals too. We make every conscious effort to be found spotless and blameless before God. But when we fail unintentionally we are honest and sincere enough to change and correct our self. This is the sign of true child of God.
We cannot afford to live heedlessly in this world, for we are accountable to the One who has called us and saved us. We are here for Him and we are to live up to His standards (as in His Word)
2 Pet 2:13 (NIV)
...make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with Him.
Yes, this is the way to live. Anything apart is a compromise...
...and there is NO grey area.
