When we are keenly looking towards God for some provision or help or some favor to be bestowed on us, our strength can be zapped when we find nothing happening. But we so quickly forget that God is working something for us, unseen to our naked eyes. At such times we need to recall whom we trus and what kind of God we worship. If we understand the very nature of Him whom we trust, then we can remain strong and unshaken during times of difficulty.
Look what the Word of God says in Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV)
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
The Lord is not only with us now, but has gone before us, to prepare for resources or provisions or paths or people to meet our need. He has already worked on the ways and means to make things happen in favor of us. If we can live with hope today, it is because of what He has already accomplished to meet our future needs.
All praise and glory to Him, for He never leaves us nor forsakes us. Amen.
