The Spirit of God through God's Word teaches us things we need to learn and adopt in our lives. Many a time though we know what is the right thing to do, we seldom do it. For we react to our life's situations and circumstances based on our perception, understanding and emotions. Our emotions at times overwhelm us and we react based on our emotions. It is better that we pause during those times before we make major decisions or react to our situations. We need to pray about it so that our Lord will help us to make the right decisions by giving us the insight into the truth.
The Word of God says,
James 4:17 (NIV)
Anyone. then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins.
Instead of taking decisions by surge of emotions, if we only wait for the Lord to lead and guide us, we will not fall into wrong choices or reactions. Let us learn to bring every issue or problem to the Lord, so that He guide us, teach us to do the right thing always.
