When we live with Christ, we will always desire to live a life pleasing to the Lord. We will always want to be found right by Him. For that is the evidence of He living within us. For He is light and when the Light lives within us, there will be no room for darkness or sin or wrong attitudes, actions and motives. We cannot afford for these things to make a dwelling in our hearts.
That is why the Word of God exhorts us to live as children of the Light, as the Lord lives in our heart...
Ephesians 5:8,9 (NIV)
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as the children of the light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)
Let us make every effort to live like the children of the light depending on the grace of the Lord.
