Faith is seeing the unseen. We believe because we see through our spiritual eyes and not with the natural eyes. It may be a healing, a provision, a miracle, a breakthrough or even a divine intervention for something unbelievable to happen. Our faith is not based on facts but on the one who is faithful (Jesus) and on the one who is able to do it. Not only is He able but He is rewarder of those who seek Him.
Sometimes circumstances may look exactly opposite to what we believe. That is when our faith is challenged. But we need not shake, rather stand strong for He will not leave us nor forsake us.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
