Believing is following?

For many people it is easy to believe in Jesus, but difficult to follow Him. For following comes with a cost. And when calculating the cost it looks difficult or sometimes optional. So many choose to just opt out from following believing that we can go on and there is no harm in doing so... Let us not fall into this trap of the devil to believe that following is optional...
John 10:27 (Amplified Bible)
The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me.

For only those who follow Him end up with Him in heaven otherwise we may end up at Satan's home-hell. Some may ponder why should we bother about hell and heaven now? Let us live here happily while on earth...
But look what the Bible says,

And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
Romans 2:5-8 (The Message)
You're not getting by with anything. Every refusal and avoidance of God adds fuel to the fire. The day is coming when it's going to blaze hot and high, God's fiery and righteous judgment. Make no mistake: In the end you get what's coming to you—Real Life for those who work on God's side, but to those who insist on getting their own way and take the path of least resistance, Fire!

So let us be warned that believing is not casual ...it is following.
And by following we dont loose anything only gain - blessings and eternal life. Amen.
