Heavenly Coach

Most of us when encountered with God’s Spirit get all excited and go on well in our spiritual walk. We encounter the Spirit of God’s intervention (as we rely on Him) daily through His conviction, correction, encouragement, guidance, teaching, edification etc. As we tend to get comfortable with our spiritual walk there is an impending danger by moving away from increased dependence on Him to independence. This may happen even without our knowledge while we may be getting comfortable by carrying along by our own strength.
That is why Apostle Paul warned the Galatians Church in Gal 3:3 I believe. So let us be careful not to fail to rely on our heavenly coach – the Holy Spirit of God, consistently.
Galatians 3:3 (New International Version)
Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?

  1. This verse from Galatians 3:3 was exactly what I read today from the daily devotions by Selwyn Hughes...
Our focus should always be God centered.
