I already have it...

It is one thing to look for something in our life with hope; but yet an other attitude to live as if we have received what we believed and prayed for. That is living by faith. As we know that, faith is sure of what he hope for and what we have not seen (Heb 11:1).

It is one thing to hope for an increment or a financial breakthrough; yet an other attitude to thank God everyday, that He has already granted it to us, to meet our need. It is one thing to hope for healing, yet another thing to have faith which believes that by His stripes we are healed.

Throughout the Bible we see men and women of God, who just did not hope for good to happen to them; but was sure of what they already received from God even before they saw it happening in the natural realm.

Like the Psalmist who says,

Psalms 27:13 (NIV)
I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the LORD
In the land of the living.

This is faith. We sure need this...

  1. Beautifully said. Its like what i read the other day. there is no use in you praying to the Lord in the name of our savoiur Jesus Christ when you dont even have the faith in Him. Its the faith that we have in God that matters the most. And it is at times when our faith is put to test during difficult times that we have to be stronger and trust God all the more. For His timing to do things for ur, is the perfect timing.
"Our greatest strength is often shown in our ablility to stand still and trust God."
Faith can even move a mountain. And faith in God will yeild out miracles

  2. Wonderful... What an attitude to have, driven by faith and of-course by His grace.
