Chosen

We all know that Jesus died for all the people in the world. And those who believe that He died on the cross for their sins are saved. Jesus loves all, one and the same, but He has given a free will to all to choose Him. He expects that His creation respond to His love by their own will. Those who taste Him and His love, choose to accept Him and live for Him as said in God's Word.

But the Word of God says that, God knows who would respond to His love and we who are in Him, are said to be chosen before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4). Jesus is the first and the last, so He knows who will respond to Him and be saved...

2 Thessalonians 2:13 (NIV)

But we ought to always to thank God for you... because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through the belief in the truth.

This doesn't mean God chooses only a few, but He accepts everyone who would come to Him...Are we responding to God and His love? If we are, then we are already a people who are chosen before the foundation of the world... a highly privileged and blessed people.
