Frustrated?

Frustrations come when our plans are thwarted. Under every frustration is hidden some form of anger, sometimes towards others, situations, or even God. Even the Psalmist when deeply frustrated asks God,

Psalm 85:5 (NIV)
Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations?

The Psalmist sees God's silence as anger. But the truth is that, the Psalmist is angry with God. Even when we go through a period of prolonged frustrations, we feel angry towards God; especially when we see that our situations turn to be against us in spite of earnest prayers. The truth is, God knows our situations well and He will act as per His plans for us which is good. Though we may not see this at the moment, to believe in His unfailing love will never prove waste.

Psalm 33:18 (NIV)
But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.
