Dangerous honey

Many of us easily gossip. Though we know that it is not right to gossip about somebody, talking others story is sweet like honey at times. Sometimes without our own knowledge we may be doing hard-core gossiping.

Even believers in the New Testament times got into the habit of gossiping and Paul warns in his letter to Timothy about them.

1 Timothy 5:13 (NIV)

Besides, they get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also gossips and busybodies, saying things they ought not to.

Sometimes when we gossip we tend to make the story bigger by adding our version to it. Therefore let us not fall trap to gossip when sharing genuine concerns about someone.
