Understanding His Love

Sometimes we may feel that God is not answering our prayers speedily and that we may think that He is slow in moving things in our life.

But God is never slow as we may think. The Word of God says in

2 Pet 3:9 (NIV)

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.

He knows exactly when to provide and when to make things move in our lives; only we don't understand His divine plan for us. We would have gone through disappointments, pain, loss and even dejection. But God has seen it all and He knows how to bring about a breakthrough in our lives.

Though we may not understand His plans for us (and we don't need to have a blueprint of His plans) we need to understand His nature and love for us, so that in times of disappointment, we may rely on His wonderful nature and love.

Ephesians 3:18 (NIV)

...to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ

May we have the heart to grasp this love of Christ which will help us stand in the time of need...
